I frequently hear this;
I have prayed for the sick before and I have seen people get healed but not like today, it was so easy today when I was with you guys.
The simple reason is because healing is easy! Salvation is easy because everything is already provided for by Jesus dying on the cross, salvation is a part of the atonement (1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:5). The same is true with healing! Healing is easy because healing is already provided for by Jesus on the cross, healing is a part of the atonement in the same way as salvation, it’s a done deal (Matt 8:16-17, Isaiah 53:4). This is where we have to renew our minds. If healing is in the atonement and God is a person who keeps his word (Psalm 89: 34, 2 Timothy 2:13) then this is easy, because it is all about faith in what God has ALREADY DONE!
So, go and heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out demons, Matt 10:8.
It isn’t more complicated than that!!
