It is easy to share the Gospel everywhere, but especially with people who work as cashiers. Their job is to be nice to you while they are selling things to you. This is almost as a setup for success! Usually cashiers and receptionists are very opened, often in pain due to their occupation, but in all, they are people, just like you and me, so they need to hear the Gospel, they need a touch of God.
Me and Botros were traveling home by ferry after a beautiful wedding in Sweden. The ferry offered Sauna to the travellers, so we went to check it out. We went up to the lady who was working as a receptionist for the sauna. We talked with her for a while about the prices and all the wonderful spa treatments that they had to offer. At the end we decided not to use their sauna, but as we left, I said to her: Hey Eve! (I read her name on the name-tag that was pinned to her clothing) I would love to pray for you before we go. She said: Yes please! I asked her if she had any pain, and she told me her stomach was hurting. I prayed and the pain left her.
Surprisingly she wasn’t surprised, with a smile on her face she said to me that she believed in this. I saw this reaction as a wonderful opportunity to share the Gospel with her, since she already believed in supernatural healing, she was very opened to it. It was easy, and we believe it left a seed in her heart, we pray that her heart would become a good soil for it to grow, and as we pray, we continue sowing seeds. It is easy and if I can do it, anyone can do it.
