“For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
The word conformed is the Greek word “summorphos” and refers to form once and not formed step by step. If you are saved, you are now in this moment conformed in His Son image, in your Spirit. If I in same way could see through your Spirit, I will see the Son of God, Jesus Christ, with the same holiness, righteousness, power, mind, wisdom etc. (Eph 4:24, Gal 2:19-20, 1 Cor.2:16b, 1 Cor. 1:30)
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me,
”And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”
and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
2 Peter 1:4
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
1 Corinthians 6:17
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
