The bible does not answer this question directly, but makes a note that all christians who are members in the body of Christ have been equipped with different gifts (Rom. 12:4-8, 1 Cor. 12:7, 11,27-18, Eph. 4:7, 11-12. and 1 Peter 4:10-11).
A recommendation is, to not concentrate on this so much. But rather let it grow forth in time, which it will do, if you continue to seek the will of the Lord (Matt 7:7)! And while you are finding out what your calling/gift is, you should concentrate on serving/loving other people instead.
Start by doing what Matthew 7:12 says, which is also called ”the golden rule”:
”Therefore, all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them; for this is the Law and the Prophets.”
If you never find out what your calling / gift is, you have not failed in any way if you love your neighbor as yourself (Rom. 13:8-10) and you will touch and impact many people`s lives for the Lord! (Luke 10:29-37).
Start there! With time something will slowly grow in your heart. For example it can be that you recognize that many christians are going astray because of the lack of knowledge -which leads to a desire to teach – which in turn leads to a teaching ministry.
It is common when you minister to others that you realize after a while that you have to start organize the work, which leads to a ministry,Similar as in (Acts 6:1-7).
Surveys that helps people to find their gift is not recommended. It is misleading because it is inspired and limited by a human way of thinking.
Enjoy being a child of the living God, love others , and let Him lead you into what He has planned for you.
